‘Drawer Of Dreams’ at Colston Hall, Friday 18th September
Last week saw a pretty exciting project take off with Eshed documenting ‘Drawer of Dreams’. Part of the programme of events to celebrate the official opening of the brand-spanking new foyer at Colston Hall on Friday 18th September, ‘Drawer Of Dreams’ is a dynamic physical theatre piece put together by Cirque Bijou and the chamber group Emerald Ensemble. The piece is based on the kinds of difficulties can that arise when a new building is proposed, and featured music conducted by the highly acclaimed Charles Hazzelwood.
Taran, Patch and a small crew of Eshedders (some of them brand new members) turned up to document the event, taking a very hands-on approach and filming whilst mingling within the audience. Everyone involved has reported that the event was a real success- well done, guys!
